About Dagda Media

Dagda Media was founded on a single conviction: that the same story, told across the right combination of formats, reaches further and means more than any single medium can achieve alone.
We are a transmedia production house developing multiple original projects simultaneously — each a complete world with its own archive, audience, and commercial life. By integrating AI tools into every stage of production, from research and translation to design and distribution, we can build multilingual, richly layered experiences at a pace and scale previously unattainable for an independent studio. The result is a body of work that is genuinely global in reach and genuinely deep in every market it enters.
We are a team of writers and producers with overseas careers in all corners of the world, working in universities, consulting firms, advertising agencies, and on landmark projects with global brands. With a long career in brand strategy and creative agencies, we have experience across Asia, Europe, and beyond.
That breadth of experience is the engine behind Dagda Media. The founder brings a researcher’s precision to his fiction, a storyteller’s instinct to his documentary work, and a strategist’s eye to every project he builds. He writes across genres and formats, develops transmedia properties from first concept through to commercial release, and manages the work of collaborating artists, including neo-expressionist painter Stephan Lupino.
His projects span Hong Kong crime fiction, grass-court tennis culture, a Muay Thai documentary, a Japanese memoir, and adventure fiction set in 1970s China — connected not by subject matter, but by the same commitment to building worlds that reward deep exploration.
